JAXXON athlete and undefeated middleweight Eric Priest (15-0, 7 KOs) continued his rise in the middleweight division with a dominant performance over Tyler Howard at Commerce Casino. Controlling the fight from the opening bell, Priest’s sharp movement and precision kept Howard on the back foot, earning him a unanimous decision victory (100-90) on all judges’ scorecards.

His path to victory wasn’t without challenges. During training camp, Southern California wildfires forced evacuations, disrupting his routine. At the same time, his head coach, Julian Chua, faced health setbacks. Through it all, Priest stayed focused under the guidance of JAXXON House boxing coach Yogy Winder.
"Eric just kept his head down, kept working, and tonight showed the fighter that he is," Winder said after the victory.
This latest win under the Golden Boy Promotions banner further cements Priest as one of the most promising prospects in the middleweight division. With his undefeated record intact, he’s only getting started—and we’re proud to have him as part of the JAXXON team. Stay tuned as we share more stories from JAXXON athletes pushing the limits.
