Length and Weight Is The Difference Of "Youth" Chains
Jaxxon's YOUTH ROPE CHAIN 2.5mm has the same outstanding quality as the regular adult version, which I also have in 4mm. Both have that classic twisted rope look and have that faceted (maybe faceted isn't the right word), but the silver the chain is made with is cut in a way that the surfaces catch and reflect light, so it really shines.
I asked Jaxxon what was the difference between the "youth" and "regular" versions of some of their chains and they told me that the "youth" version will be a tad lighter in weight than the adult version and come in shorter lengths. Otherwise, there's not much difference: both have the same outstanding quality and craftmanship that we have come to expect from Jaxxon.
I own about 5 Jaxxon chains (Rope, Cuban, Figaro, Rounded Box), and love them all. This company still impresses me.
