How to Measure Bracelet Size
There are a few different ways to measure your wrist at home. You’re going to need a few things, and since we know not everyone has all of these items at home, we’ve got options. Here are the wrist measurement essentials:
- Soft Measuring Tape
- Ruler
- String or shoelace
- Piece of paper
- Printer
If you have a printer, make things easy for yourself and print out our men’s bracelet sizer. This sizing guide is super easy to use and helpful if you don’t own a measuring device like the ruler or flexible measuring tape.
Measuring your wrist at home with a soft measuring tape or string
If you don’t have a printer, that’s ok! Here is an easy way to find your perfect bracelet size with a few household items.
- Wrap the flexible measuring tape around your wrist snugly but not too tight where it feels uncomfortable or your skin begins to bulge around the soft tape measure.
- Then, note the spot where the flexible tape measure ends and that number in inches or centimeters is the size of your wrist!
- If you’re using a string or piece of paper and a ruler, do the same thing from step one.
- Then, mark the spot where your string or paper ends and lay it next to a ruler for the measurement in inches or centimeters.

The Perfect Fit
Once you’ve got your wrist circumference measurement, you may wonder if that is the right size for every type of bracelet. Some people prefer men’s tennis bracelets because they’re more fitted, so they don’t move around, while others may want a looser fit. It can also depend on the style of your bracelet. For example, if you are looking for a chain link bracelet, it most likely has a clasp.
For chain link bracelets, you can choose the size closest to your wrist size or size up for a looser fit. If you are looking at men’s cuff bracelets, these are a great option because they can be adjustable. If you’re looking at a men’s bracelet that doesn’t have a clasp or isn’t a cuff, you’ll have to remember that it needs to make it over your hand as well. This won’t be a problem if the bracelet is stretchy or can adjust a lot. If you have big palms, you may want to size up!
Individual Style
You don't have to get it right the first time. You can always try different sizes and designs to see what fits your style and comfort best. You’ll realize that experimenting with different types of men’s engravable bracelets is part of the fun!
